Some chemicals being transported to the Weija treatment plant fell off a trailer on which it was being transported, Monday night.Many residents scurried from their homes, for fear of being killed by the falling cylinders.According to Jews News' Fred Smith, the cylinders fell off while the truck was making its way up the sloppy road to the Weija Dam site at about 9pm, damaging buildings and casing residents to stay indoors for hours.Fred said the cylinders, filled with "poisonous" chlorine chemical, went straight into homes and could have caused havoc but for some trees that stood in the way of the rolling cylinders.There has been no official communication from the authorities of the Weija Dam regarding the incident.
