The Reverend Professor Emmanuel Mantey, Chairman of the Ga Presbytery, on Thursday called on Christians to abide by God's commandments to receive his favour.
He said there were so many people going about calling themselves Christians but did not obey His word.
Rev. Prof Mantey was speaking at the launch of Ga Presbytery Radio Evangelism Ministry dubbed "Woke Yesu hie ke hie" (Face to face with Christ) in Accra.
The forty-five minute programme, which would be aired on Obonu FM 96.5 every Saturday from 0630-0715 hours, is to reach out to Christians in the Ga-Adagme communities in the Greater Accra Region.
He asked Christians to bring their problems to God for he is the only one who can help them out.
The Rev. Samuel Tetteh Banfro, Member of the Planning Committee, said a survey conducted by the Ga Presbytery showed that most religious broadcast in the capital were done either in Twi, English or Ewe to the neglect of the Ga language which was key in reaching out to their members.
He said to ensure effective communication, the Ga language had been chosen as the main dialect on the programme.
Rev. Banfro noted that annual production cost for the programme was estimated around 80 million and asked the various branches and members of the church to donate generously to sustain the programme.Source: GNA
