This Thursday 19th September 2013, Hotline on Joy FM will rebroadcast the intriguing documentary dubbed “Our Village School”.
Our Village School is a story about the state of Ghana’s rural schools. The reporter on the project, Kwaku Owusu Peprah, travelled to four regions of the country to speak to pupils, parents, teachers and school authorities about the deplorable conditions of schools in those areas.
It’s a story giving graphic descriptions of places of learning turning into death traps – how pupils sit and learn under roofs with gaping holes, within cracked walls waiting to collapse on innocent children.
The story will be aired again because it seems very little has changed since the issues were brought to light close to a year ago.
