“...Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed entire souls of the world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved entire lives of the world”, The Noble Quran 5:32.
So, is Al-Shabab, Al-Qaeeda, Hezbollah, Boko Haram and other unconscionable and misanthropic Islamist militants aware of this verse of The Noble Quran they so claimed to be following?
These pseudo pro-Islamic fighters are not fighting for Allah but for the devil of their condemned souls. This wanton barbarism and extremism of annihilating the human race is a battle for all. We must fight it with our resources, money, knowledge, prayers, strength and mouth.
The Noble Quran, 109:6 - Surat-al-Kafirun (The Disbelievers), Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said to the disbelievers, “To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism)." If the number one gentleman of Islam didn't foist Islam on people who failed to accept it, who is Al-Shabab and their evil kindred?
Even in Jihad or Islam-endorsed war, the scriptures warn against killing non-combatants (innocent people), women and children including destruction of properties. Can these evil and godforsaken gangs claim cleanliness with the blood of innocent souls?
It about time we delinked Islam from terrorism. Many are those who believe that terrorism is a sibling to Islam. Such a jaundiced perception will impede the world's collective effort to fighting the beasts of terrorism.
America after 9/11 has suffered many more acts of terrorism from their own people. A clear instance is the numerous gunmen breaking into schools and entertainment hubs and indiscriminately killing innocent people.
What is terrorism? Terrorism is any act of violence or threatened violence against civilians in order to attain political, religious or ideological goals. This is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear. So, why should we narrow terrorism to only religion? Let's look at terrorism with broad unbiased minds and work aggressively to lessen or stop it.
Taoist majority in Myanmar has slain several Muslims in recent times even though it's not hugely BBCed. That's terrorism!
Let's consider terrorism within the wide spectrum of its definition and inherence. Nit-picking and stereotyping will defeat our object of professing an all-encompassing solution to this common enemy of humanity.
The proliferation of these nefarious Islamist groups of doom is one and too many to name. It implies that these groups are making fortunes for themselves under the guise of defending Islam. They are fighting not for Islam but for political power to gratify their iniquity. Their actions, though I am not an authority in Islamic literature is unislamic and ungodly.
There can never be justification for terrorism under “special cases” in Islam: "Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (The Noble Quran, 2:190)
ISLAM means PEACE!
PEACE is the solution to HUMANITY!
Salaam!
