The new Chief Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Alex Mould will formally begin work today.
Mr. Mould was last month appointed as the Chief Executive of corporation with immediate effect.
However Joy Business gathers some few administrative issues made it impossible for him to take office instantly.
Sources say, his first week in office would see him engage workers and other stakeholders about his vision for the corporation.
Many would be looking forward to see what he would bring on board, especially at a time when there have been calls for a review in some of the agreements the corporation has entered into.
Director of Research at the African Center for Energy Policy, Peter Amewu is one of those who are pushing for more transparency as the new head takes over.
Meanwhile, Economist Moses Asaga is also expected to assume office as Chief Executive of National Petroleum Authority NPA next week.
Joy Business gathers announcement to confirm his appointment is expected soon.
The former Minister of Employment and Labour has some banking experience and has also worked with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation. Moses Asaga was the Member of Parliament for Nabdam in the upper west region from 19996 to 2012. He holds MSc in petroleum Engineering from the University of Aberdeen an MBA from Yonsei University South Korea
