A leading light in the governing New Patriotic Party has underscored the importance of confidence, integrity, competence and commitment as virtues to transforming the public sector.
Speaking at the launch of the States and Governance Authority (SIGA), at Alisa Hotel, Tuesday, Asare Otchere-Darko, said politicians, all leaders; labour, civil society, business and students must develop and exhibit a high degree of these to challenge organisations to perform.
“We need to realise that the urgency of our time demands that we make slackness costly to the slacker. We cannot do business as usual if we want to emulate how successful business is usually done,” stated Gabby as he is popularly known.
