Five Catholic priests in the Ho Diocese were on Saturday elevated to the position of Monsignors.
They are Reverend Monsignor Anthony Kornu, Reverend Monsignor Wynnand Amewowo, Reverend Monsignor Adolph Amexo, Reverend Monsignor Cletus Frank Egbi and Reverend Monsignor Gregory Daniels-Akata.
By virtue of their elevation, the five can now serve as Cathedral Chaplains or Chaplains of "His Holiness".
Administering the investiture, Most Reverend George Kocherry, Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana advised the newly elevated Monsignors to remain humble and committed to the work of God.
He asked them to remember that they were called to serve and let holiness be their watchword and be the " bridge" between Christ and the Church.
Most Reverend Francis Lodonu, Catholic Bishop of Ho said the elevation of the five was in recognition of the their hard work and dedication to ecclesiastical duties.Source: GNA
