The defeated Parliamentary Candidate for NDC in Ketu South, Foga Nukunu has stated categorically that he will not consider going independent despite losing by a very close margin.
According to him, Article 45 of the party says every member of the party must be loyal to the party at all times.
The tutor at Keta Secondary Technical School said he was against independent candidates of the past and he will not tow that line.

Foga Nukunu , a former student of University of Ghana , Legon and an old vandal fiercely contested the NDC Primaries in Ketu South with four others.
Dzifa Abla Gomashie won the contest with 586 votes whilst his closest contender , Foga Nukunu garnered 555 votes.
This has thrown the party in Ketu South into a state of chaos with many party workers giving up.
It would be recalled that NDC in Ketu South saw NDC aspirants in 2004, 2012 and 2016 contesting as independent candidates.
