The Business Development Minister has called on young and upcoming businesses to persevere in order to become prosperous businesses tomorrow.
According to Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Awal, perseverance is key in building any forms of business from scratch, charging the young people not to give up in spite of challenges.

He is the one who envisioned a business entity that could stand the test of time and grow to become the point of reference in Ghana”.
According to him, “as we celebrate Melcom@30 today we trace our footsteps back to 1929 when the first generation of Khubchandani’s in Ghana arrived at our shore and fell in love with the then Gold Coast and for a long-time committed themselves to good citizenship, investment and the growth of this nation’s economic well-being.
The major landmarks we can recall with historic nostalgia include Glamour Departmental Stores, Glamour Farms, Glamour Garment Factory and Maharaja Restaurant.
That phase of his journey began on the 10th September 1989 exactly 30years ago today with a single shop in Accra Central”.
