Reverend Emmanuel Titi-Lartey, Senior Associate Pastor of the Harvest International Ministry, at Tesano in Accra, on the eve of New Year, said 2008 would be a "Year of Ultimate Victory."
He joined a large congregation at the main auditorium of the Church to observe the event amidst singing of praises, waving of handkerchiefs and shouts for joy.
Rev. Titi-Lartey noted: "This is the year for a crowning sweet scented victory for believers, the nation, politically, socially, economically as after the year of jubilee, God's ultimate victory is eminent."
He said in order to obtain ultimate victory, Christians must prepare to pay a price, stressing that until that was done ultimate success would be a mirage.
Rev. Titi-Lartey asked Christians to pray, be faithful to God and seek His grace and avoid bad companies, associations and negative groupings.
He said anyone or group that would attempt to subvert God's purpose and plan would be exposed and urged Christians to work hard and enter the New Year with great expectations.
