After Sarkodie was seen pushing the Ghana and Africa agenda at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards, public love for the rapper has soared as he continues to dominate social media.
Lady luck has shone her grace on the rapper as talks about him are not dying down anytime soon.
BET has posted their 2019 cypher and it seems to have left many people in awe.
The rapper in his freestyle is seen pushing an empowerment agenda for Africa and for dark-skinned women.
Sarkodie advises people to free their minds from the things holding them back from greatness.
He also advised women to appreciate their melanin skin and be proud of their scars and stretch marks. According to him, there’s nothing more beautiful than a skin like that and a woman who takes absolute care of it.
“Don’t let anybody tell you you are not beautiful cause you’re black,” he added.
The rapper did the cypher alongside Caribbean rapper Kalash.
King Sark as he is affectionately called won the Best International Flow at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards.
The rapper beat Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K.), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K.), Nasty C (South Africa), Tory Lanez (Canada) to be the first act to win that award.
Watch the cypher below:
