The Cosmopolitan Mix team has successfully ended its first free breast screening. The event which took place at the premises of Joy FM on Friday began at 9 am and ended at 2 pm.
Doctors from the Trust Hospital first held a seminar to continue educating participants of breast cancer and take them through the steps when checking for lumps in the breast.

Many participants at the event were listeners of the award-winning mid-morning show and some employees of The Multimedia Group.

The breast screening is part of the Cosmopolitan Mix’s ‘Pink October’ segment where host Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye and doctors from Trust Hospital educate listeners on breast cancer and the need for early detection and cure.
