The Office of the President has presented a total of 678 names to Parliament as the number of persons working at the presidency.
This is in fulfilment of Section 11 of the Presidential Act 1993, which demands that the president submits a list of staffers to the house annually.
The list included five ministers of state like Fifi Kwetey, Rashid Pelpuo, Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansa.
The Chief of Staff, Executive Secretary to the president and Secretary to Cabinet are among the 24 names submitted under the Office of the President’ staff.
Four persons were named as senior presidential advisors. They are Dr Sulley Gariba, Paul Victor Obeng, Issifu Baba Kamara, and Cadman Mills.
The register also has names of nine presidential staffers with persons such as Dr Kpesa Whyte, Emelia Arthur, Clement Apaak, and James Agyenim Boateng making the list.
Stan Dogbe, Vincent Kuagbenu, Kofi Ofori were named as Presidential aides.
The tall list also mentioned William Kwasi Aboah as the National security advisor and Dr Nii Moi Thompson as a Presidential Advisor.
The list also included names of civil and public service staff some of whom are working at the Parks and Gardens and the Ghana Health Service.
