The Ministry of Harbours and Railways and the Ghana Railway Company Limited on Friday announced new schedules for the Accra to Tema Train shuttle services.As from Monday, 14th of January, train from Asoprochona to Accra Central would leave at 6:15 am while the one from Accra Central to Asoprochona would leave at 7:15 am.According to an official statement, the afternoon train from Asoprochona to Accra would also depart at 12:12 p.m. while the scheduled time for the evening train from Accra Central to Asoprochona would leave at 5:54 p.m.The new schedule was due to concerns expressed by the public on the inconvenience of the previous schedule.Meanwhile the Ghana Railway Company had intensified its efforts at completing the rehabilitation of additional coaches to increase the capacity of the Accra Tema shuttle service.Source: GNA
