PETROSOL, a leading privately-owned Ghanaian Oil Marketing Company (OMC), has been adjudged the Rising Star in Ghana’s energy sector.
The company received this award during the recently held Ghana Energy Awards.
This is in recognition of the company’s shining light in the energy sector, particularly its remarkable achievements, operational excellence, innovation, potential and strategic vision.
The event had the Minister of Energy, John Peter Amewu as the Special Guest of Honour and brought together key players in Ghana’s energy sector.
This award closely follows another award, the Chamber Oil & Gas Company of the Year 2018, awarded the company by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) during their 2018 Chamber Business Awards event, in recognition of PETROSOL’s ethical business practices, tax compliance, environmental management, corporate social responsibility, customer service, employment generation, innovation and thought leadership engagements.
PETROSOL has over the years built a reputation as a company committed to best industry practices and delivering value for money by serving its customers with quality petroleum products in full quantity and from its safe, neat and convenient fuel stations across the country.
It currently operates eighty (80) fuel stations across the country and also supplies petroleum products to corporate institutions.
It has also created employment opportunities for about 400 people and consistently fulfils its petroleum tax obligations to the state.
