A 37 year old teacher at Tublukope JSS is in critical condition at the Ketu South Municipal hospital after two masked robbers shot him in his rented apartment at Kopeyia in the Ketu South Municipality.
The robbers demanded money from Philip Akortah and when he failed to give they shot him and bolted.
The Clinical Coordinator at the hospital, Dr. Fidelix Tiah confirmed this to Joy News' Volta Region correspondent Ivy Setordzi.
According to him, the victim was rushed to the hospital in a very critical condition but is now responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, police have begun investigations into the matter.
