Brother Osarehmen E. Aighalua, President of the God's Kingdom Society (GKS), Church of the Living God, has called on all Christians to do good and to help one another at all times. He explained that to do good, was to be addicted to charitable acts for the sake of God and humanity and for the joy and the inner peace that came with it. Brother Aighalua was speaking on the topic; " To do good and communicate, forget not," on the last day of the Christian Feast of the Tabernacles organized by GKS at the Salem City in Warri, capital of the Delta State of Nigeria. He urged Christians to share their material resources, energy and time with the less privileged in society, adding, " for these are the sacrifices that please God". "Even though we live in a world where it is very difficult to do good, we must try our best to let our good deeds to supersede the bad ones. If we are able to do this, God will remember us in times of trouble and lift us up," he said. He said, no matter how small the good actions, God would always remember them and reward accordingly. Explaining the significance of the festival, Brother Aighalua said God commissioned Moses to organize the feast of the tabernacles for the Jews and indeed for all mankind as a divine festival to be observed by all throughout the world. He said according to the Bible, God said he would bless those who would observe the feast but those who would not, he would punish with plagues and famine. He explained that the feast could be celebrated anytime of the year at the convenience of the community involved Brother Aighalua therefore, enjoined all nations to part-take in the celebrations of this festival in order to receive God's blessings of prosperity and peace. Brother Samuel C. Nwaeke, Vice-President of GKS in a lecture to run-up the week long festival said it was necessary for Christians to identify the true Church of God and to faithfully abide by its teachings and principles, and cautioned them about false prophets and teachings. He said the true church of God could be assessed by its teachings and practices and called on all to join GKS " for it is the true church of God". He urged Christian not to rely on their riches, positions in society and the power or authority they possess which could fail them, but to put their trust in the omnipotence of the Almighty Jehovah God, whose love and protection endured forever.
