Alhaji Eesah Tetteh, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Ghana Private Road and Transport Union (GPRTU), has appealed to Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) to arrest people who dump refuse into gutters and culverts. He told GNA in an interview that dumping refuse into gutters posed danger to the health of the people and portrayed Ghana as a filthy nation.“Cleanliness must be total because Ghana, as tourism destination, must radiate decency and good image.”Alhaji Tetteh said AMA should remove garbage from containers rather than allowing them to overflow and urged the public to exhibit a high sense of patriotism by providing information to AMA on people who dump refuse into gutters.Source: GNA
