The ‘Bafana Bafana’ of South Africa failed to sparkle as they were beaten 3-1 by the Tunisians in Tamale.
In their second round match of Group D at the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament in Ghana, the Tunisians were more precise and purposeful in their game.
They capitalised on the defensive blunders of the South Africans as early as in the 7th minute to score their first goal through Dos Santos. Ben Saada made it two in the 31st minute and Dos Santos made it three for Tunisia.
In the 87th minute, Mphela got a consolation goal for the South Africans.
