The MTN Man of the Match in the Egypt-Sudan "Group C" match, Egyptian Hosney Abdel Motaleb has said that his team's victory was not without a fight.Motaleb said Sudan posed a threat at the onset, throwing a lot of men upfront in their match at the ongoing Ghana 2008 soccer fiesta at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday,The Egyptian, who was speaking at a post match conference said his side did not control the match initially but gradually changed their strategy that yielded the desired results.He said the re-take of the penalty awarded his side did not worry him, as he was sure he would convert it.Motaleb said "we topped the group and will make sure to beat Zambia to grab the maximum nine points to be in the quarter finals".Babker Eldin of the Sudan team said they created the chances in the first half but unfortunately could not score.He congratulated Egypt for their victory but was emphatic that Sudan would beat Cameroon even though it would not qualify the team for the quarterfinals.Source: GNA
