The vice chairman of the Black Maidens management committee ,Oduro Nyarko says the team is coping well in the United States of America where they have pitched camp to prepare this month’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Costa Rica.
Ghana thrashed Alabama University 5-0 in their first warm up match played on Sunday and lost their second game 1-0 to another select side from the Alabama University.
The team is expected to play two more friendly games in the USA before leaving for Costa Rica for the tournament.
“We are coping well, so far so good, the transportation is good and the training facilities here are fantastic and we really love it,” said Oduro Nyarko, vice chairman of the team’s management committee
“The girls are in good spirit and training hard for the tournament, currently we don’t have any injury situation here and I believe we will have the full complement of our team for the tournament.” He said
Ghana who are in Group B with Canada, North Korea and Germany won bronze at the last edition of the tournament in Azerbaijan.
