Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius reportedly began vomiting while a graphic account of Reeva Steenkamp's injuries was delivered in court by the pathologist who carried out the post-mortem.
The 27-year-old arrived at the High Court in Pretoria this morning for day six of his trial for alleged murder.
The double amputee is accused of killing his girlfriend Steenkamp, whom he shot dead through a bathroom door at his home on Valentine's Day last year.
Judge Thokozile Masipa banned details of the post-mortem being reported or broadcast due to the nature of Professor Gert Saayman's assessment, which described the damage caused to Steenkamp's body from the fatal gunshots.
According to Sky Sports News, Pistorius began vomiting and had to have his microphone moved away from him due to the amount of times that he was retching while listening to details of the autopsy.
The athlete denies murder by stating that he mistook Steenkamp for an intruder when he fired the shots.
