The District Chief Executive for West Mamprusi, Mr Adam Yussif, has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government will not neglect any community because people there do not support the party.
He said NDC, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, cares for all and not just a section of the populace.
Mr Yussif told the GNA in Tamale that some people, especially those in the West Mamprusi District, were throwing their arms up in despair with the false impression that development was eluding the district due to the fact that NDC lost the Parliamentary seat in the area.
Mr Yussif said detractors of the government were refusing to see the infrastructural development across the country, adding that it was not possible that any government would deliberately refuse to provide any community with development projects.
He noted that West Mamprusi District had benefitted from the government since 2012 when the district was divided into two towns to speed up development.
According to him, a senior secondary school in Yagba in the district can be cited as an example of development projects implemented by government.
Mr Yussif also mentioned the rehabilitation of clinics and health centres as other development projects worthy of acknowledgement.
The West Mamprusi DCE further said the district assembly had also constructed three CHPS compounds at Duo, Timburi and Nabari and that the assembly had rehabilitated a 10-unit classroom-block at Nabari and a six-classroom block and teachers quarters at Sariba.
