A youth group of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday June 2, 2014, paid an unannounced visit to the party headquarters to reassure the newly elected National Executives of their total support in the performance of their duties.
In a charged atmosphere, the spokesperson, Achibald Cobbina, urged the national officers to be encouraged by the total endorsement given them in Tamale and to pursue a program that would ensure that the NPP recapture power in the 2016 general elections.
Cobbina who is also the Greater Accra Youth Organizer also charged the executives to work assdiously to ensure unity in the party for a formidable front in 2016.
The youth group was welcomed by National Chairman, Paul Afoko, General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong, second Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe and the National Treasurer, Abankwa Yeboah.
On behalf of the Steering Committee, Kwabena Agyepong thanked the youth for their dedication and sacrifice to the party and assured them of their readiness to work for unity.
