An Upper East Side gynecologist has been charged with sexually abusing six patients.
Disgraced Dr Robert Hadden, 55, is accused in court papers of fondling and performing oral sex on the women, many pregnant, between September 2011 and June 2012.
The OBGYN allegedly molested the women at his Washington Heights and Upper East Side offices.
The nine-count indictment against Hadden comes after five patients filed two civil suits against him last year detailing the alleged abuse. One was later dismissed.
He’s charged with two counts of forcible touching, five counts of criminal sex act and two counts of sexual abuse.
Hadden of Tenafly, New Jersey was released on $20,000 bond at his arraignment last Friday, where he entered a plea of not guilty, court records show.
Hadden’s lawyer, Isabelle Kirshner, said he intends to fight the charges.
“Dr Hadden is a physician with an impeccable reputation and looks forward to defending himself against these charges in a court of law,” she said.
