Sportscrusaderonline. com can confirm that former Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Kosta Papic has been appointed as an assitant to Joel Masutha for PSL side Chippa United .
The two worked together at Black Leopards last season and since the Serbian joined the Chilli Boys, he’s been trying to convince Masutha to join him at the newly-promoted club.
No paperwork has been signed yet, but Masutha confirms to this website that he is joining Chippa.
“I’m on my way to go meet the club and my flight is at 4pm. I’m going to become Papic’s assistant,” he says.
Masutha played for Leopards in the 90s as a goalkeeper and following his retirement, he has served as an assistant coach at Dynamos, African Warriors and later on at Leopards.
