Lawyer for Kumasi based King Faisal Egbert Faibille has chided the Ghana football Association for petitioning the Chief Justice to have a judge mandated exclusively on the ongoing legal tussle which has stalled the start of the Ghana premier league .
The court case has been adjourned severally and the Ghana FA in an attempt to ensure further delay, moved to request, special attention for the case from the chief justice. But lawyer Egbert Fabille told JOY Sports in an interview he’s unimpressed with the FA's gesture.
"I obtained copies of the letter that the Ghana FA sent to the Chief Justice and I felt it was very strange. This is the Ghana FA that has applied to the court to dismiss the cases in question.
And at this instance the court has fixed dates for the hearing, so Why then will the Ghana FA, notwithstanding its triggering of the legal judicial process of the applications to dismiss the our case file to the chief Justice administratively to expedite hearing "he hinted
King Faisal, who were relegated last season, are in court to contest rulings by the Disciplinary and Appeals Committees of the Ghana Football Association which dismissed their protest to have points deducted from Aduana Stars.
Faisal alleged Aduana failed to pay a fine of GHC 5,000 imposed on them by the D.C within the 14 stipulated days before playing Berekum Chelsea and Heart of Lions. The petitioner sought to have Aduana forfeit two matches in accordance with the provisions of General Regulations of the GFA, but it was twice thrown out The 2014/2015
