Ismaily claimed a morale-boosting win before meeting rivals Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League after beating lowly Ragaa 3-0 at home on Sunday.
In-form Ghanaian striker John Antwi opened the scoring as early as the third minute after getting ahead of his marker to convert a cross at the near post. He took his tally to nine goals, on level with league top scorer Arafa El-Sayed of Talae El-Geish.
Veteran midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou made it 2-0 three minutes after the hour mark before Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz completed the rout seven minutes later with a low shot from the edge of the area.
Ismaily, who were deducted six points following a dispute with their former striker John Owoeri of Nigeria, moved to the 13th place in the league table with 12 points, nine behind leaders Zamalek whom they meet on Thursday.
