Sports Minister Mahama Ayariga has tipped the Black Stars to easily deal with group opponents at next African cup of nations in Equatorial Guinea with cheeky ease.
The four-time African Champions were paired with inform Senegal and former winners Algeria and South Africa in group C.Pundits have tagged the Group as the Group of death of the showpiece, but the sports minister is confident Ghana will scale over the hurdles comfortably with the necessary preparations.
"We all appreciate its a Group made of very good countries. Anyway if you go to a tournament with the aim of becoming a champion you must be ready to beat any team.We should ready to meet any team that we meet and I have no doubt,if you look at our world cup performance. I keep saying that we were the only country ,the world champions could not beat .so if you look at the world cup standard ,then I don't have any doubt that the black stars will put up a good performance in Equatorial Guinea"

Senegal have been through a massive transformation with emerging talents like Papiss Cisse, Mame Biram Diouf, Saido Mane and Diafra Sakho all taking the English Premier League by storm. South Africa were housed in a group with three-time champions Nigeria but qualified with a game to spare and denied Nigeria the opportunity to defend the trophy.
Algeria blazed the trail at the world cup but for their naïveté , lost to eventual champions Germany in the Round of 16, and 2014 BBC African footballer of the year Yacine Brahimi in the Algerian side underlines the pedigree and make for a tough group.
Ghana face Senegal in Mongomo on January 19 before games against Algeria and South Africa on the 23rd and 27th of January respectively.
