Ghana have stepped up preparations for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Sudan after arriving in Kenya on Sunday.The Black Stars are to train in the east African country before departing to Omdurman on Thursday for the Group D clash.Seventeen players were at the last training session in Accra on Saturday, from the 22 that went to Mali where they secured a 2-0 victory.The team is made up of Richard Kingson, George Owu, John Mensah, John Paintsil, Eric Addo, Isaac Vorsah, Micheal Essien, Mousa Narry, Samuel Kyere, Samuel Inkoom and Bernard Kumordji.The rest are Ernest Papa Arko, Prince Tagoe, Kojo Asamoah, Mathew Amoah, Opoku Agyeman and Junior Manuel Agogo.They travelled with the squad later in the day for the training camp in Kenya where they are expected to play a local side in a friendly on Wednesday.Even though Paintsil and Laryea Kingston trained with the squad on Saturday, they were left out of the team for Kenya.Paintsil is suspended for the Sudan tie because of two yellow cards while Kingston seems not to have fully regained his fitness after recovering from injury.Ghana coach Milovan Rajevic is aware that the Sudanese could be more difficult because it would be the last opportunity for the home side, which has one point, to survive in the qualifiers.He said the match would be played in a very high temperature, which could be a major threat to the Black Stars, but was optimistic that his team would triumph.Coach Rajevic said: "We are going to work seriously on our strength and concentration in the next few days and I believe this will get us well prepared for the task ahead."The Sudanese side is a good team, with a lot of talented players.
