Chief Executive Officer of Focus One Group, Kwame Adu-Mante has called on the general public to support the upkeep of inmates since the designated ยข1.80p feeding fee assigned to each inmate by government was woefully inadequate.
Mr. Adu-Mante who made this passionate appeal during a donation exercise to some 720 inmates at the Sekondi male and female prisons said if the general public can support the facility with cash or items throughout the year, ย it will help improve the general wellbeing of prisoners.

He cautioned people not to always perceive inmates in a bad light.
"Once they find themselves there it is a correctional facilityย but not a condemn facility so itโs always a step in the right direction to come around and show love.โ
As part of an annual trip to the prisons, his outfit donated medical supplies, groceries, domestic accessories, and other assorted items worth over ยข40, 000 to the inmates.

The correctional facility was also given some hospital equipment and medications for their infirmary.
Mr. Adu-Mante said that โthe gesture was a simple manifestation of the good Bibleโs commandment for us to love your neighbors as yourselves.โ
โBy doing this, I believe that it is the greatest love you can show to your neighbor or friend because the good bible says we should love our neighbors as ourselves," he said.

DSP Nesta Adjetey Cyrian, Western Regional Public Relation Officer of the Ghana Prisons Services on behalf of the entire Sekondi Prison Services showed appreciation to the Focus One Group for the donation and called on the general public to emulate the continues commitment of Kwame Adu-Mante towards assisting the facility for the past 10 years.
