The Ghana Police Hospital is to undertake a mass burial for 120 unidentified and unclaimed bodies in its mortuary to reduce congestion.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs, DSP Yaw Nketia-Yeboah, the unidentified corpses are mainly poor individuals, unidentified accident and crime victims from November 2019 till date.
“The general public is hereby being informed to contact the Pathology Department of the Police Hospital for identification of the person who might have not seen for some time.”
The exercise will be embarked on 21 days after this announcement.
