The Ghana Education Service (GES) as part of its effort to contain the number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Ghana has directed staff not to be more than three in its offices.
According to the statement signed by the Human Resource Manager, Adjoa Van Vicker, only two supporting staff and the Director are to be at work whereas other staff are to be on a one-week rotational schedule.
Mrs Van Vicker also directed that staff of Service can be granted all or part of their annual leave in the wake of the pandemic.
Amongst the directives, she asked kitchen staff to stay home until students return to school.
“The arrangements should be enforced until further notice.”
