The National Youth Authority as part of its 'Covid-19 Youth Campaign' has donated assorted essential medical equipment to the Ministry of Health in support of Ghana's efforts at combating the coronavirus pandemic.
The items, worth ₵700,000 include 200,000 gloves, 2,000 Cardinal Health PPE, 1,000 Re-useable PPE, 400 goggles, 5,000 hand sanitizers and many others.
The Deputy Minister, Alexander Abban together with his team and management who received the items on behalf of the Ministry were grateful to the National Youth Authority for the timely support.
The CEO of the National Youth Authority, Sylvester Tetteh was joined by Board Chairperson of NYA, Francisca Oteng Mensah, board member and National Youth Organizer of NPP, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), Deputy CEO of NYA, Nelson Owusu Ansah and some directors of the Authority in presenting the essential items to the Ministry of Health.
The Covid-19 Youth Campaign seeks to rally the youth in mobilizing the needed support for government's fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
