Distributors of fishing gears in Ghana - CCT Group Ltd has donated GH¢50,000 to the COVID Trust Fund and also GH¢10,000 worth of Veronica Buckets and bowls for the fishing community.
“With the lockdown, we are getting a lot of calls from the fisherfolk on how best they can protect themselves as they go about their normal business. With our support we believe this will go a long way to not only protect the fisherfolk from the virus but also shore up their productivity,” Director of Operations, Nana Agyenin Boateng told JoyBusiness.
Receiving the items, Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah commended the efforts stating it was now time for Corporate Ghana to intensify their Corporate Social Responsibility in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of CCT Group Ltd, Nana Yaa Boateng, has called on other corporate bodies to step up contributions to the fight against the virus stating; “With this war, we all need to team up.”
