The Chief Executive Officer of Goldridge Ghana Limited has presented some items to the Accra Regional Police Command to aid their fight against the novel coronavirus.
Dr Sledge Duodu told Joy Business, that the donation is part of their corporate social responsibility at a time when the virus is wreaking havoc throughout the world
Some of the items donated included bags of rice, cooking oil, sardines and hand sanitisers among others.
According to Dr Duodo, the items are being donated to security forces based in Accra for their hard work in enforcing measures put in place by the government to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

“The police and army forces as we all know have been at the frontline making sure citizens stay safe as they go about their business, hence the need to come here and donate some relief items to them.
"This is to motivate them since they also have families at home but are risking to keep all Ghanaians safe,” Dr Duodo said.
DCOP Fredrick Adu-Anim, who received the items on behalf of the Accra Police Regional Command, expressed profound gratitude to Dr Duodo and his team.
He said they are excited that society recognises their efforts and go to such length to express it.
DCOP Adu-Anim said they will do their best to ensure keeping the country safe even as they fight the novel coronavirus.
