Hours after being released from police custody on bail, the Founder and Overseer of the International God's Way Church (IGWC), Daniel Obinim has released photos in which he is seen holding several $100 bills.
The pictures accompanied a press release issued by his Special Aide, Richard Jackson and copied to Myjoyonline.com.

On Tuesday, May 19, the police arrested and charged the IGWC founder for alleged publication of false news and forgery.
He was subsequently granted bail, to the tune of GHC100,000 by an Accra Magistrate Court with three sureties and one person to be justified.

However, he was kept in police custody for longer than expected for reasons that are yet to be made public. His family reportedly alleged that police deliberately frustrated his efforts at meeting his bail conditions.
He was finally released from custody on Friday.
On Saturday afternoon, his aide issued a statement, accompanied by the photos above, dismissing reports that he had been rushed to hospital after his release from police custody.
