Klicks Africa Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to training Youth with special needs to acquire vocational skills, has donated an amount of Ghc 7600 to the mother of a teen living with cerebral palsy.
The donation was made to support the single mother in paying her rent.
According to the NGO they were touched by a story aired on TV3 about Madam Asabea Otupiri Darko who disclosed some challenges she was facing as a single mother fending for her disabled son in the period of Covid-19.

After watching the story, the NGO decided to help.
Executive Director of Klicks Africa Foundation Mrs Mary Amoah Kuffuor, said the amount is for two years rent advance for Madam Asabea and her son.

Madam Asabea after receiving the money expressed her profound gratitude to all who contributed to making the donation possible.
Klicks Africa Foundation also runs a resource center that trains youth with disability with self-help skills as well as builds their social and emotional skills.
