Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Fighters League, Ernesto Yeboah who was arrested by security operatives during a vigil at the Black Star Square has opened up about events leading to the incident.
The political activist was whisked away by a joint security team while leading the June 6 vigil against police brutality in the USA, after the killing of African-American, George Floyd which sparked global protests.
In a yet-to-be aired interview, the vociferous activist shares with host of Super Morning Show, Kojo Yankson his thoughts on the arrest which he deems unwarranted, considering the need to solidarise with the black race outside the country’s shores.
He also shares his experience during his stint in the police cells after what he described as a kidnapping.
Ernesto Yeboah has subsequently been granted bail by the police.
The full interview is scheduled to air later today on the Joy FM Super Morning Show and subsequent bulletins on all platforms.
