The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Thursday, June 11, buried some five people who died of Covid-19 at the Awudome Cemetery in Accra.
The ‘supervised’ exercise was carried out by the Public Health Directorate of the AMA and adds to 16 other burials already embarked on by the Assembly.
This leaves 27 outstanding bodies to be disposed off by AMA.
The exercise was captured by photojournalist Samuel Moore.
