An NPP activist in the Dome Kwabenya constituency has been killed by armed robbers.
Patrick Opoku Baah was shot dead early Thursday at his residence at Taifa.
His guest, a German national known only as Klaus also sustained gunshot wounds and has been admitted to the 37 Military Hospital.
Narrating the incident to Joy News’ Sammy Darko, wife of the deceased Beatrice Opoku Baah said the robbers took her son hostage and used him to gain access to the bedroom of the couple.
According to her the robbers shot her husband thrice in the chest after robbing the family of their money and jewellery.
Bigwigs of the party are said to have besieged the residence of Mr Baah to sympathise with the bereaved family.
