A highly resourced wholesaler and retailer of household and commercial furnishing essentials, Builders Bazar, opened its first showroom at Labone, in Accra on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
Builders Bazar brings onto the Ghanaian market a new generation of European sourced household and commercial furnishing, along with a range of modern interior decoration materials.
The showroom, which opened its doors to customers today showcases an array of exquisitely crafted merchandise which include carpet tiles, internal doors including fire-rated doors, wardrobe doors, kitchens with a variety of cabinetry designs and colours, fire retardant fabric for curtains and upholstery.
Other items in the company’s list of stock to be supplied onto the market will include porcelain and ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, bathroom suites, and other floor covering.
Bearing the hallmark of superb craftsmanship yet at extremely affordable prices, the company’s products are a perfect fit for real estate developers, project managers, architects, interior decorators and retailers in furnishing homes, offices, churches and other multi-purpose facilities.

“It is our hope that in partnership with real estate developers, households, and professionals in the real estate sector, Builders Bazar will make available its high-quality brands at prices with a view to making housing more affordable in Ghana,” Mr. Isaac Kyei-Mensah, Executive Director told newsmen.
Mr. Kyei-Mensah said the value derived from Builders Bazar’s products can easily be measured by their high quality, durability, and affordability of the company’s products.
He said, “These are not ordinary times with the COVID 19 pandemic that has changed and continues to change our environment. A lot of us are now spending more time in our homes especially with this new working from home culture and we have already seen a lot of households that are planning to refurbish their kitchens and general re-make of their homes. We are here to fill this need and we will work with all households to find products that are suitable for their vision and budgets.”
Mr. Kyei-Mensah said, Builders Bazar will work closely with professional organisations in the building sector like the Institute of Architects, the Ghana Real Estates Developers Association (GREDA), the Institute of Surveyors and use a network of Sales Agents across the country to make its products widely available.
He said Builders Bazar is currently present in Kumasi, through a partnership with its Agent, Home Avenue Limited, located at Patasi near the Police Depot.

Mr. Kofi Sekyere, Chairman of Builders Bazar said “Our company is set to become the most dependable supplier for real estate developers, project managers, architects, interior decorators and retailers of such merchandise for bulk supplies for households, new construction projects and for home renovation and refurbishing.”
“Given the times that we are in, the company has initiated discussions with a few banks and we are happy to announce the first partnership with Access Bank to provide 6 months of no interest financing package for our clients. Clients can even opt to pay for their purchases over a twelve-month period but such arrangement will attract a relatively lower interest rate that currently available on the market,” Mr. Sekyere disclosed.
New as the company may be on the local market, Builders Bazar’s principals are credited with more than 50 years of cumulative experience and expertise in the real estate sector in Ghana and across Africa and have been instrumental in the planning, development and construction of a string of iconic real estate edifices in the country and elsewhere in Africa.
