The Law Students’ Union of the University of Cape Coast, has presented two separate citations to GOIL Company Limited.
One of the citations is in honour of GOIL Company Limited and the other for the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive of GOIL, Mr Kwame Osei-Prempeh.
This is in appreciation of the sponsorship of the union’s Law school events and Law education in general.
The Citation expressed gratitude to GOIL for lighting the flame of continuing Law education in Ghana. The Union thanked GOIL’s CEO for his ‘extraordinary contribution’ to their studies, adding, “We hold you in high esteem because you have distinguished yourself as a leader who seeks service over self-interest”.
Receiving the citations, Group CEO/Managing Director, Mr Kwame Osei-Prempeh advised the students to study harder to achieve their ambition of being called to the bar.
He added that as a lawyer and a former Dep. Attorney General of the Republic of Ghana, his love for supporting law students is a matter of course. He charged the students to take their studies seriously so they can become good lawyers in the future.
The Law Students’ Union delegation included: Abdul Rahamann Ibrahim, Legal Advisor of the Union and Patrick Offei.
