MP for North Tongu and member of NDC's campaign team, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has lauded wife of former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur for joining Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang's campaign.
Matilda Amissah-Arthur who hails from the Region joined the NDC's running mate to tour parts of the Western Region to canvass for vote.
In a Facebook post, Mr Ablakwa described the act as "beautiful and inspiring."
“Beautiful and inspiring to see former Second Lady H.E. Matilda Amissah-Arthur join her good friend and NDC Running Mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to campaign in the Western Region – her dear home region where she’s much loved. United for victory 2020,” he said.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang on Sunday began a four-day tour of the Western Region.
The tour is aimed at understanding and finding solutions to the challenges faced by the people of the Region.
She has also been paying courtesy calls on traditional authorities and religious leaders, as well as interacting with a broad range of stakeholders from all walks of life.
The tour comes on the heels of her recent six-region tour and is also focused on sharing highlights of the NDC’s 'People's manifesto'.
