Deputy Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Richard Nyamah says the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is justified in questioning the processes leading to the exhibition of the voter's register.
Speaking on JoyNews' PrimeMorning, the Deputy Communications Officer said the EC would need to tell Ghanaians why various political parties were not informed of some anomalies in the register before the exhibition process commenced.
"This shows and proves the NDC right that there should have been an IPAC meeting for the deduplication aspect to be corrected before the exhibition started.
He said the Electoral Commission (EC) would have to explain current issues facing the country's voters' register exhibition especially when the method they used is flawed.
Mr Nyama, however, urged the EC to resort to alternative methods or go back to old ways in doing things to move the discussions forward.
In as much as he agrees with the NDC, he admitted that the party has twisted a lot of facts.
"It is not the political parties that determine when the EC has to meet with them. It depends on what is at hand," he said.
According to Mr Nyamah, the agitations by some political parties ahead of the election are simply to add excitement to the process.
