President Akufo Addo has revealed that about 15 districts in the Ashanti Region will benefit from government’s one district one hospital agenda.
Speaking at a durbar held at the Manhyia Palace on Monday, the President stated that the project is scheduled to be completed in 12 months.
Dubbed the Agenda 111, district benefiting from the project include Adanse Asokwa, Afigya Kwabre North, Ahafo Ano South West, Amansie South, Asokore Mampong and Atwima Nwabiagya North.
The others are Bosome Freho, Obuasi East, Sekyere Central, Afigya Kwabre South, Ahafo Ano South East, Asokwa Municipal, Atwima Mponua and Atwima Kwawhoma.
He told those gathered that the initiative was to ensure that numerous districts in the region are equipped with adequate health facilities.
This is to especially help the people and essentially the country in the midst of disease outbreaks like the coronavirus.
He urged the people to vote for him to retain power to ensure that he continues keeping his promises to them.
