President Akufo-Addo has called on the chiefs and people of Atewa East to renew his mandate in the December polls.
During a 3-day working visit to the Eastern region on Thursday, the President addressed the chiefs and the people of Atewa, the President appealed to them to consider the developmental growth the country has seen under his tenure and vote to retain him in the upcoming elections.
According to him, about 80% of his campaign promises to the people of Ghana has been fulfilled to the people of Ghana.
Accordingly, he is appealing to Ghanaians to renew his mandate and give him four more years to do more.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s political talk show Ekosiisen on Wednesday, Dr Bawumia also mentioned that, 80% of the NPP manifesto promises have been fulfilled.
He added that the projects are either 100% delivered or are still being delivered.
Some of these projects include the Free SHS, Planting for Food and Jobs, NABCo, One-Village One-Dam, One-Constituency One-Ambulance, are all new transformation policies the NPP has brought about.
Akufo-Addo further stated that his victory for the 2016 elections was based on his campaign promises and the fact that Ghanaians were fed up with the incompetence of Mahama’s administration.
However, he urged Ghanaians to vote for him based on the developmental facelift Ghana has seen under his administration
President Akufu Addo during his tour, inspected some ongoing road construction, school projects and have been cutting sod as part of his working visit in the Eastern Region.
