Edzordzinam Agrosah has been adjudged the winner of the second edition of the Future Fashion Fund in a keenly contested competition organised by Accra Mall Limited.
Out of five finalists who went through several evaluation stages, Edzordzinam, who operates under the brand name ‘MissEvy’s’ and ‘Bloom by Edzi’ was declared the winner at the runway show organised as part of the grand finale on Saturday, September 5, 2020.
MissEvy’s started on the campus of the University for Development Studies WA when Edzordzinam had no formal dressmaking and design training.
She sought to create a bespoke women’s fashion brand that satisfies the contemporary woman’s quest for style and comfort.
The fashion brand currently makes bespoke female clothes ranging from bridal gowns, traditional kente gowns to office wear.
With the ever-rising demand in Ready-to-wear clothes by the contemporary woman, Edzordzinam started her Ready-to-Wear brand, ‘Bloom by Edzi’.
The brand uses recycled fabrics to create timeless pieces for the contemporary woman.
Bloom by Edzi is the first brand in Ghana to specialise in pants and jumpsuits for women.
Anthony Asamoah, Marketing Manager of Accra Mall, outlined the prizes which the winner walked away with.
“The ultimate winner receives a cash prize $3,000, a month-long pop-up stall at Accra Mall, Woodin fabrics and souvenirs.”
Speaking after receiving his award, Edzi expressed gratitude to Accra Mall for the honour done her.
“I want to thank Accra Mall for this opportunity and as a brand which has carved a niche in bespoke pants and jumpsuits for women, we are very grateful for this award and recognition”, she expressed.

The runway show also featured clothing, makeup and accessories from retailers at the mall.
