President John Evans Atta Mills has learnt with deep concern the flooding of some parts of Accra with consequent loss of lives and damage to property.James Agyenim-Boateng, Deputy Minister of Information in a press statement said: “President Atta Mills extends his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and sympathises with the injured and those who have lost property as a result of yesterday's flooding.”According to statement, the President has directed the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to take urgent steps to address the plight of victims.Source: Myjoyonline.com
