Former chairman of the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA), George Lutterodt has urged Martha Bissah and the association to settle their differences.
Bissah recently graduated from Norfolk State University in the United States of America with a Bachelor of Science in Management.
In 2014, Bissah won gold in the girls 800m race at the Youth Summer Olympics– winning Ghana’s first Olympic gold medal at any international event.
Since then, the 23-year-old hasn't run for the country again after failing to settle a dispute with the Ghana Athletics Association.
Charmain of the association, Bawa Fuseini was adamant that the stance of GAA hasn't changed and Bissah still has to issue an apology.
However, former Chairman Lutterodt thinks the current situation leaves no winner and both parties should move on and settle their differences.
Bissah was a sensation at Norfolk State University winning Female Athlete of the year in 2018 and 2019.
